Taken January 2006 from Inchon (Heliport) - JCN to Hong Kong, Chek Lap Kok - HKG2

As for service marks, Thai Airlines always has excellent service that exceeds many other airline companies. The flight attendants are very warm, polite, and welcoming. Meal service was done efficiently, and whenever I needed a drink or some assistance, a flight attendant was always present. Even though this flight was only 3 hours long, the flight attendants provided us plenty of drinks and hot towels! - 10/10.

The flight left on time and landed as scheduled. - 10/10.

As far as comfort is concerned, this is Thai's Achilles heel. They seem to lag behind their competitors with regard to the seats in Business class. I understand the airline is in the process of refitting and modernising its aircraft interiors, but this should have been years ago. During this flight, the seat showed some wear and tear. Moreover, I found it odd that in Business class cabin on the Boeing 777-200 had a 2-4-2 layout - usually it is 2-3-2. Regardless, leg room and seat pitch were adequate. - 6/10.

Compared with other airlines, Thai's Business class product is of decent value. It may lag slightly behind its rival Asian competitors, but I find that its friendly crew and exceptional hospitality on board makes up for a lot of its downfalls. As far as cost is concerned, Thai Business class is always cheaper than most other airlines and hence easier on the wallet! - 7/10.
