Taken February 2006 from Winnipeg, MB (Winnipeg International Airport) - YWG to Toronto, ON (Lester B. Pearson International Airport) - YYZ

This is a complaint against AC. I had booked a flight from Winnipeg to Toronto three weeks prior and when I arrived at the airport 2 hours before the flight, they informed me that I had no seat. According to the AC ticket staff this is quite common for AC to oversell all their flights. They could not guarantee that I would get a seat for the flight I paid for or for the flight after that one. This happened friday evening and I had to be in Toronto that night. My only choice was to buy another ticket with Westjet. Westjet after hearing my story gave me a reduced fare for my flight back and they also informed me that they never oversell their flights.

I have to also mention that the AC staff did everything in their power to try and find me a seat and were very quick in giving me a credit for future travel.
