I have read many reviews on this web site and I think some people's reviews are a bit harsh. Monarch flew us effortlessly from LGW to Calgary and the flight departed on time and arrived a little early. The plane was not exactly new and there weren't any seat back TVs, but the service was fair and the captain kept us informed of our progress. The cabin staff were courteous, but the main meal was not too good. I would say this flight was value for money and if you are on a budget then this airline offers a good deal. You cannot expect 1st class conditions on a budget flight, like many expect on this site.
