Taken February 2006 from Hamburg (Fuhlsbuttel) - HAM to Sofia (Vrajdebna) - SOF

Flight Hamburg to Sofia via Brussels. On-time flight departure, earlier than planned arrival. Comfortable blue seating, although the plane (Avro 85 or similar) shows its old age in the broken tables, and worn-out walls. Top-notch cabin service, and good food (croissant and a cookie) even on a 50 min ride Hamburg-Brussels. Brussels airport does not look welcoming with its grey, empty interior with dirty and worn-out grey carpets for almost 3 h connection time, but that is not the airline's fault.

The longer flight (2h40 min) Brussels to Sofia was not full, but there were some extremely loud crying Belgian babies whom the stewardess was trying to pacify without success. Hot food was served (chicken with rice and vegetables), plus pasta salad and choice of non-alcoholic drinks. Very good airline for a really low price (less than 200 Eur return)! Great experience!
