Taken 16 February 2006 from London (Stansted) - STN to Palma de Mallorca, Balearic Islands - PMI

I booked a day return for a work trip, and to be fair, it was great value at only £87 for the day return.

Check In was very fast and efficient, and as I am tall I was allocated an exit seat - Great!

My flight was due to leave from Stansted at 09.10am... there was a 1 hour delay, not too bad as my meeting was not until 2pm... then another hour, and then another hour.

We finally left at 12.50am!!!

I did not arrive into Palma until 2.40pm, and hence missed my meeting and was very annoyed.

To be fair, the service was good and the cabin crew were very apologetic, and cited that there had beena delay on the aircrafts first flight of the day that had knocked on, but this didn't help my situation.

My return flight left on time at 7.35pm, so I had 5 hours to kill in Palma airport, not my idea of fun!!

There's no doubt the flight was excellent value, but next time I take this trip (in 3 weeks) I will be using easyjet.
