Home > Northwest > 2000 > ReviewTaken January 2000 from London to DetroitOn a return flight from the UK to Dallas (DFW) via Detroit. Firstly in the UK our flight was combined with the St Paul/Twin Cities flight. So we had to sit in the lounge for an extra 3 hours and no explanation was given until we were off the ground. Once on the flight we were given seats in the middle - this plane was full almost to capacity. The food was terrible. For some reason there was water dripping into the cabin while we were flying (This is a scary notion if you are 33,000 ft above the ocean). The crew had to use paper towels to wipe the water off the cabin walls. Anyway once in St Paul - we had to wait for room to open up on a DFW flight. We were fortunate to get the next flight out - right at the back (last row to be precise). We "enjoyed" the heat and noise from the rear engine. I am prepared to pay US$1000 more to fly BA/Swiss Air or AA now. Cheap bargains are not always the best. | ||
