I was seated in 12F which was the row behind the emergency exit, and as a result, I had bags of room. However, the seat was in fact a business class seat and it was in bad shape. Lumpy, dirty, tatty material and it wobbled distinctly on take-off and on the hard landing in AMS. If I had paid a business class fare and got that seat, I would not have been happy. KLM needs to get some newer, fresher looking planes to keep up with the standard of service offered on BA, BMi, LH... Service was swift, despite being a full flight lasting only 50 minutes. The crew were friendly and we got out on time, in early. KLM shouldn't bother handing out small, soggy sandwiches on this flight - they don't taste nice, they're a waste of space, and a bit of an insult into the bargain. | ||
