Taken 14 February 2006 from San Francisco, CA (San Francisco International Airport) - SFO to Manila (Ninoy Aquino International Airport) - MNL

Flights were both on time. San Francisco ground staff were courteous and even accommodated me and managed to get my baggage on the plane despite my late check-in. Plane was an A340-300 and was beginning to show its age. It did not have the individual video screens that I prefer. The seats were a little hard for my taste and can become uncomfortable after the long flight. The plane was kept clean, though.

Service was very good and friendly. There were choices of dinner, drinks, snacks and breakfast. The meals were very good. Call lights were answered promptly and beverages were offered at intervals. I felt relaxed and comfortable throughout the flight. Return trip was just as pleasant. Overall a good value for the money and the most convenient to Manila.
