Taken 2 April 2006 from Ovda (Eilat/International) - VDA to London, England (Gatwick Airport) - LGW

Return flight from London Gatwick to Ovda, Israel.

Both outbound and return flights o. k in terms of reliability (leaving on time), however the comfort on both flights was absolutely appalling: it has been 2 days since my return flight and I am still feeling very ill.

The main problems were seat pitch (I'm only 5'6" and found it very uncomfortable). Some people took to standing for 2 or so hours on the trot to ease the discomfort. I felt particularly sorry for 1 gentleman who was rather large (height and weight) stood for the entire 6 hours. The toilets then began to be used as additional seating for people really needing to take some comfort - I am absolutely appalled by this.

There were just 2 toilets open on this very old 757, which led to a very long queue at times.

At arrival at LGW, the plane waited for an additional 45 minutes for the steps to arrive - after a truly awful flight, the passngers became understandably very angry which wasn't helped by the crew and captain's comments on the PA system referring to the handling agent's 'cowboy' and 'pathetic' operations as the reasons for this additional delay. This merely made the airline look even more unprofessional.

I am currently receiving medical treatment for a throat infection (not present before the start of the flight) in addition to severe cramp in my legs.

Not at all good.
