After being overseas for a number of weeks, I felt a sense of nostalgia once I boarded my Qantas flight back home. It was the first time I had flown with Qantas internationally, and was quite impressed. The flight attendants welcomed us personally and in a friendly manner as we boarded, crew were well presented, the safety demonstration was simple and effective, and there was plenty to keep me occupied during my flight, including magazines and on-board entertainment. Leg room was a bit tight, but I was able to sleep most of my way home.

The snack packs, consisting of a bottle of water, chocolate and other snack items, are a great idea, as you can eat when you want without having to wait for meals to be served. The meals were appetising, and I felt very safe flying with Qantas. I only wish they would add another flight from Frankfurt to Sydney (we left just before midnight and arrived 6am Sydney time, meaning I was very tired when I arrived). I look forward to flying Qantas again.
