Taken 2001 from Las Palmas/Gran Canaria, Canary Islands - LPA to London, England (Luton Airport) - LTN

In 2001 Air Scandic came to the rescue after a very long seven hour delay at Las Palmas airport due to Britannia Airways having a technical fault with their aircraft.

They had flew down specially from Manchester to fly us back to Manchester. They greeted us at the aircraft door with effortless smiles to passengers relieved to be on the way back to the UK.

The service was smooth with a full bar service and a hot tasty meal. Their were headsets ready available in the pockets and I was offered a pillow during the flight.

Landing was on time and the crew were very efficient loading us off at about two o clock in the morning as they had to get back to Manchester. They don't deserve the criticism they faced because on this occasion because of them we actually made it back to the U.K.
