When waiting for the flight to take off from Manchester, the flight was delayed. It started off as a 30 minute delay, this kept creeping further away from the time we were supposed to take off. It ended up being a 4 hour delay. We didn't even get a SORRY. I basically went to complain at the information desk, and the so called customer service person was awfully rude. Throughout the duration at the airport, we got a time of departure from the check-in woman, a different one was appearing on the board, and yet we got told another time from the customer service person. I basically said "could you give us a certain time, as people are waiting in Tenerife for us" he replied "this is a creeping delay, they do what they say and creep further away" I just walked away. Then on the return flight back to Manchester, we were on a really old plane, which was constantly making terrible noices throughout the journey. Ah well. The holiday was good. Had no problems on the flight coming home. My suggestion is that they employ more polite staff. | ||
