Taken 18 February 2006 from Seattle, WA (Seattle-Tacoma International Airport) - SEA to Raleigh-Durham, NC (Raleigh-Durham International Airport) - RDU
I flew SEA-ATL-RDU on February 18 and RDU-CVG-SEA on February 25. SEA-ATL was DL 706 on a 767-300. I had seat 42F. The flight was COMPLETLY full. We left about an hour and a half late because of weather in Atlanta. For breakfast, a snackbox was served. I watched the movie "Elizabethtown" and tried to sleep a little. We arrived in Atlanta at about 4:45 PM EST. I was worried because I only had an hour connection. But I found out my next flightwas delayed so I went down to the Popeye's at the food court. Went back to gate B3 to RDU. Boarding was starting. This time it was on an MD88 with new interior! I had seat 24D which was an exit row. Great legroom for a 50 minute flight. Arrived in RDU about an hour late. A week later, I flew back via CVG. Since the flight left at 6:00 AM, the flight was pretty empty. So I moved to my own row and stretched out. Got in to CVG at about 7:25. Had an hour before flight 1691 to SEA at 8:30. So I walked around a little. Then boarding started and I went on the 737-800. I sat down in seat 16C. It turned out that I had my own row again! So I stretched out and watched the movie "Walk The Line". It was pretty good. We got in about a half hour early. All in all, a great trip! |
