Taken 2006 from London, England (Heathrow Airport) - LHR to Luxor - LXR

We were very apprehensive, having read previous reviews. How wrong those reviews were! This flight was absolutely first class!

A nice, immaculately clean B777, friendly, efficient check-in, we were asked what seats we wanted. Arrived on the plane, warmly welcomed by the all male staff, who never stopped smiling throughout the flight. Loads of leg room, and comfortable seats. The crew handed out sweets prior to take off. No alcohol on board, but the crew handed out soft drinks regularly, free of charge. In flight meal - by airline standards - was very good indeed, with refills freely available for hot drinks. The cabin crew just could not do enough for the passengers throughout the flight. Regular updates on overhead video screen as to our location, speed and ETA, together with a camera view from the cockpit, very interesting!

Best flight I've ever been on, and would fly with Air Egypt again without hesitation.
