This late night departure from BCN was thankfully on time. It was a pleasure to see the new easyJet airbus arrive at Barcelona airport ready to return to LGW. Arriving early, the crew turned around the plane extremely well and were able to board passengers promptly. As somebody who had checked in early, I was fortunate enough to be in boarding group 'A'. Within just a few minutes, the dispatch staff began to board and we were welcomed warmly by the cabin crew.

The flight was nearly full and the return journey began on time. The cabin crew team gave a warm and genuinely nice welcome to us all and carried out their duties smoothly and with care. The Senior Cabin Crew Member was thorough and professional but was also able to add a personal touch to the PAs that he did as well as supporting and aiding customers with special requirements. He was ably supported by an experienced and courteous team - all of which were extremely helpful and alert. For a late night flight, the crew worked very hard and ensured that every customer was given the best experience possible.

The flight was generally smooth and the easyKiosk was served twice. Gatwick Express tickets were sold thoughtfully and all announcements were clear, professional and upbeat. The aircraft was clean of litter and was a pleasure to use. I am in favour of the new airbus as the centre aisle is much wider thus making it possible to pass the crew to go to the toilet.

Both toilets on board were very clean. Handwash was readily available and the mirror was clean from smears. The easyKiosk offers great value for money. On disembarking the aircraft once again the crew were friendly and kind to us all and asked us to enjoy the rest of our evening. We arrived at midnight, earlier than expected.

Overall, I would like to say how pleased I am with easyJet's service. It was a wonderful flight from BCN-LGW and I shall certainly use easyJet again. Well done to everybody on board EZY5138. If easyJet service is this thorough across the company, then I have a strong feeling that it will prove to be one of the most successful and enjoyable airlines we have.
