Taken 1 June 2006 from Montreal, QC (Dorval International Airport) - YUL to Amman (Queen Alia International) - AMM

I was really impressed by the genuine and exceptionally high service offered by Egypt Air on my business trip to Amman/Jordan. I've never flown with a Middle Eastern airline before so wasn't sure what to expect.

Check-in at Montreal was straightforward with a dedicated area for Business and First class passengers. Premium passengers were preboarded and we were offered juices, hot towels and jackets were taken. The seats were of older design, but clean and very comfortable with PTVs available. We were served 3 meals on board with menus to choice, each entree very fulfilling. The cabin crew team were absolutely fantastic with their top notch service and attention to detail especially by "Hannan" who was superb.

We landed in Cairo on time and I had a 4 hour wait for my connecting flight which was spent in Egypt Air's new business lounge. Again for the flight to Amman, business passengers were boarded and we were offered the same level of service on board this flight. The flying time to Amman was just over an hour, but the crew managed to offer a full meal service plus 2 bar services.

For the return sector from Amman to Montreal, I enjoyed the same level of attention and high service, but this time there was only a 2 hour transit in Egypt.

I must add as a final note that the cabin crew really made this a great trip and it has left a lasting impression. Despite every flight being full the crew managed to offer a dedicated and personal service calling us by our names and attending to our needs.

I will almost certainly consider this airline on my next trip to the Middle East (Dubai in September).
