We too flew with Flyjet from Sharm to Manchester after flying out, and booking with, Excel. We arrived at Sharm airport to be met with a sign saying Flyjet flight was cancelled - this was on June 17th. We too were taken to a substandard hotel and returned next day to airport only to be kept waiting for a further 6 hours. Our delay was 30 hours! We were then given the plane which was supposed to take 200 people back to Newcastle. They were hauled from the departure gate and taken to hotels!
