Home > Air Canada > 2006 > ReviewTaken 11 May 2006 from London, England (Heathrow Airport) - LHR to Toronto, ON (Lester B. Pearson International Airport) - YYZI had never flown with Air Canada before, and with using major airlines rather than budgets in all my flights, I expect high standards. Maybe I expected too much, but on long haul flights I would have thought it industry standard to have personal entertainment systems for each passenger. Entertainment was poor, due to a rather rubbish picture and a lack of decent programming. I was also placed in a seat with no window beside it. Whether this is because Air Canada has increased seating in its planes over competitors? Or just poor planning from Airbus? I'm 6'2 and the comfort was average. I wasn't uncomfortable, however, the seats being cloth without head rest 'leaner' as you get on American, Continental etc made it not so great! In flight meals, again were nothing to shout about at all really. I wasn't that impressed by the white pale sausage that was served for breakfast! Service was not to be complained about the majority, bar one, member of staff were very polite, courteous and helpful. Overall, it was purely just average. And when I can pay about £80 more for a decent meal, decent entertainment, and better comfort-I think I may chose another airline. | ||
