Home > Aer Arann > ReviewTaken 2006 from Cork - ORK to Belfast, Northern Ireland (Harbour Airport) - BHDReturn flight following a very pleasant weekend in Cork. Cork Airport was packed to the rafters as a number of holiday flights had been badly delayed so we paid 40 euros to use the executive lounge following check-in. After a pleasant hour and a half reading and enjoying a couple of drinks in air conditioned comfort we boarded an ATR 72 for the flight up to Belfast. We found it pretty much like a Flybe Dash 8-400. The aircraft took off on time, climbed quickly and as soon as possible, the very pleasant flight attendants served refreshments, which had to be paid for. Just 40 minutes after departure we were descending over South Belfast and enjoying uninterrupted views of the city. The landing really was 'textbook' - we hardly felt the wheels touch the ground - and we were home within 25 minutes. The perfect end to a perfect few days away. | ||
