Home > Aeroflot > ReviewTaken 2 July 2006 from New York, NY (John F. Kennedy International Airport) - JFK to Moscow (Moskva), Moscow (Sheremetyevo 2) - SVOThis was my first time on Aeroflot long haul and I was very impressed. The B-767/300 was indeed old, and the cabin looked as if it had been modified a few years ago. The seats indeed were the 180 degree "flat bed" pods, however they were narrow and the pitch was not as good as some other airlines business class. Also, even though they reclined 180 degrees, they were flat at an angle, sort of like a bed with the head inclined 20 or so degrees. However, the service and food was outstanding. The flight attendants were very "western" as to appearance and language, the bar service and snacks in between meals was also better than on other airlines' business class products. The crew seemed to make you want to fly with Aeroflot again, which I will if I get the chance. Landing was early, and regular updates were given from the Captain in clearly understood English. | ||
