Taken July 2006 from Galway - GWY to Dublin - DUB

I flew with Aer Arann from Galway in the West of Ireland to Dublin in the East.

Flight was bang on time leaving Galway, and arrived in Dublin five minutes ahead of schedule. Flight time was approximately 35 minutes.

Flight was very good value at €29.99, and flying certainally beats a car journey of 3 and a half hours!

However one thing, which Aer Arann can't be blamed for is that there is no public transport from Galway City to the Airport. You have to use a taxi which adds about €20 to the journey.

The flight attendant on the ATR42 was professional and friendly, and took some time during the short flight to chat with passengers sitting at the back of the aircraft.

The flight was smooth and comfortable and the ATR was perfect for a short flight like this.

Free newspapers were handed out during the flight and the inflight magazine "expressit" is also an interesting read.

Drinks and snacks are available for purchase during the flight. Prices aren't too high, but to be honest on a short flight like this I wouldn't miss the inflight sales if they weren't there.

Overall I was very impressed with my experience of Aer Arann, and will use them again in the future!
