Taken 2 August 2006 from Buffalo, NY (Greater Buffalo International Airport) - BUF to Seattle, WA (Seattle-Tacoma International Airport) - SEA
We flew from Buffalo to Seattle through Atlanta with AirTran because we had inconvenience vouchers. We would have preferred a not-so-out-of-the-way route, but that's what we get for flying with AirTran. I would think that if they want more business from the northeast that they would use either Chicago Midway or even Indianapolis for connections to the west coast. In any event, all 4 flights were uneventful. If you fly with any airline in coach, ask for the emergency exit seats because there is a lot more leg room that in a regular coach seat. We did this and the 4+ hour flights to and from Atlanta and Seattle were bearable. The only problem with AirTran is the seat cushions, or lack thereof. There is very little padding in these seats, which make sitting for long periods of time rather uncomfortable. The flight crew was pleasant. All in all, a pleasant experience and we would fly with AirTran Airways again. |
