After reading some very poor reviews on this website, I was expecting the worst from this airline. However, I was very pleasantly surprised.

The flight left and arrived on time on both occasions.

The flight attendants were particularly friendly and attentive and in my opinion took safety extremely seriously. Not a bag under a seat nor an unbuckled belt got past them. The safety demonstrations were also conducted thoroughly and seriously.

On the return flight, a passenger in the seat in front of me was incredibly nervous and throughout most of the flight, any one of the attendants was chatting to her and keeping her mind off the flight. By the time we were approaching Dublin, she was relaxed and laughing.

The plane was a rather old MD83. However, it was very well maintained and spotlessly clean. I didn't find the seats any smaller or more uncomfortable than other airline I have flown economy with.

The pilots provided regular updates about the flight's progress, informing us of the route we would be taking prior to take-off and then telling us where we were along the way.

The only issue I had with the flight (and it wasn't the airline's fault) was that the check-in staff at Naples didn't have the correct seat configurations (which was 2 seats and 3 seats in a row). They seated us in 4a and 4b, however there was no "b" on the plane so all passengers assigned seat "b" sat in "f" (seat configuration was A.C-F.E.D) so many couples didn't get to sit together.

I was very pleased with these flights and quite impressed with Aviajet's staff's professionalism and competency and would not hesitate to travel with this airline again.
