Malan) - CPT to London, England (Heathrow Airport) - LHROnce again, South African Airways has delivered excellent service to me, on my flight from Cape Town to London. They have, in response to passenger requests, spaced out the seats more in economy class, giving you a seat pitch of 33", increased from a few months ago, where it was 31". The food is very good, and the entertainment is really 5*. Personal touch screen TV's with lots of movies, TV shows, games, music and you can see the plane land, through exterior cameras. Staff are excellent, attentive, friendly and happy to help. I am looking forward to my return journey, as per usual with South African Airways. Having flown on both British Airways and Virgin (BA - stay away - cost cuts at every coRner make it hell to fly with them, especially as their own punctuality record on the route is very poor. Vrigin Atlantic are OK, cost cuts as well, meaning in -flight service is cheap and boring.) South African Airways are the ones to fly, I assure you. | ||
