Home > EasyJet > 2006 > ReviewTaken 12 September 2006 from London, England (Luton Airport) - LTN to Paris (Charles de Gaulle) - CDGAll in all, I had to stand queuing for 3 hours for a short air trip to Paris (and that after having walked an exhibition all day, stood on my feet!!!) The easyJet check in was PAINFULLY slow on the return leg from CDG to Luton. Then the usual security screen, before ANOTHER security check, whereby all cabin bags were searched (as mine was an overnighter, it had toiletries in it, such as gels and liquids, which were not allowed on board out of the UK, yet OK to take on returning to UK). How do you work that one out???!!! This last check involved 2 flights (1 to Luton and a later 1 to Newcastle) and it was only 5 minutes before the Luton departure with many people still waiting to go through the last bag check that they decided to prioritise Luton!!! All this and no information given to anyone about this extra queue and procedure. Then another 20 minutes queuing in the bus to board the plane. At Luton there were more PAINFULLY long queues to go through passport control. My advice to anyone is to avoid flying short, business trips as you spend a big percentage of "dead" time queuing!!! Life is too short, so "come on, let's NOT fly" so often if we can help it!!! EasyJet should help others in order to help themselves out of potential financial losses during this difficult period. | ||
