Home > Monarch > 1997 > ReviewTaken March 1997 from London Gatwick to Orlando International (MCO)I am a little late making this posting, but I have read other comments about Monarch and am amazed that other passenger's experiences have been so different from mine. This flight was, quite simply, the worst I have ever had the misfortune to endure. The leg-room was absolutely non-existent. I am only 5ft 5ins tall and of medium build, but even I found that my knees were crunched against the seat in front. God help anyone taller than me - and there are many of them! To cap it all, the recline mechanism on my seat did not work; not that I could have used it without subjecting the person behind me to even greater torture! The food was awful and the drinks were overpriced - but this is the norm for charter flights from the UK! The cabin crew did their best, but the odds were against them! I will never fly with MON again, even if I have to pay more, or stay at home - it simply is not worth it! | ||
