Taken 11 October 2006 from London, England (Luton Airport) - LTN to Amsterdam (Schiphol) - AMS

I flew with Easyjet from Luton to Amsterdam on a day return, Easyjet is not an Airline like BA or BMI, they are public transport in the sky, you would never expect a bus or train to wait or be delayed while you saunter down to the bus-stop or station, don’t expect any different from Easyjet. The staff are friendly and helpful, and the operation is mostly efficient, competent and reliable.

The new terminal at Luton is easy to get round, but a lot larger than the old terminal. Unfortunately people still have problems getting out of the shops and bars, in time for their flights, and with further to walk to flights some turn up late for boarding. Be aware Easyjet don’t wait, you are told when you check-in the boarding time and if your late, there is no call and you miss the flight. Tough!

At schiphol it’s the same, Budget airlines use pier H there, one of the furthest from the check-ins. They have a number of flights and they all leave about the same time so check-in can be busy, be aware.

Finally the flight out was on time but the late night flight was late, this is not unexpected with the tight turn-arounds used and any delays compound through the day, however with a 30 minute delay on take-off we were only 15 minutes late on landing. I was a well-satisfied customer.
