My children (4 and 2 year old) flew with their grandmother to Mexico and their luggage never arrived. I am very disapointed with the service I have been receiving from Aeromexico personnel in regard to trying to locate my kids' luggage. The issue is not so much that the luggage is lost, but more that Aeromexico has not even bothered to contact me nor have they offered any type of compensation for my loss. I have had to talk to numerous people over the phone in the U.S.A., Mexico and even had to go personally to O'Hare Airport with Aeromexico. But all my efforts have only made me more stressed out and the only thing I am getting out of this situation are headaches, and out of pocket expenses as I was left with no clothing, shoes nor any type of clothing apparel for my children as they were staying for winter season in Mexico and I had every single piece of clothing in that luggage. Furthermore, I have to pay to send clothes to them from Chicago to Mexico. What did Aeromexico have to say to this? Well all they said was that they could not reimburse me for my out of pocket expenses. Almost two weeks later they have yet to contact me, so you decide if this airline would be an option for you!
