Taken 4 November 2006 from London, England (Heathrow Airport) - LHR to Frankfurt (Rhein-Main) - FRA
Day return trip to Frankfurt. Outward flight was one hour late due to fog in Frankfurt. Return flight arrived 20 minutes ahead of schedule. Excellent cabin crew both ways = efficient, but friendly. Usual cabin service with sandwich and drinks with the addition of a chocolate biscuit on return flight and a second round of drinks. Neither flight was busy - only about 45% full. Plenty of space with empty seats beside me on both sectors. On both flights (Airbus A321 out & Boeing 737-300 on return) the leather seats were very comfortable and the aircraft were spotlessly clean. Although both aircraft were a number of years old, they seemed very fresh and new. A positive experience. |
