Taken 18 November 2006 from Cardiff (Rhoose) - CWL to Glasgow, Scotland (Abbotsichn) - GLA

Outbound flight - Cardiff - Glasgow on 'Brummie Baby'.

Flight left spot on time. Crew were welcoming and worked hard during the short flight. Always good to have pre-allocated seats, and as the flight wasn't too full, we were able to get 3 seats between 2 of us.

Fabulous captain by the surname of Smith - with a co-pilot with a surname of Jones - so the obvious comment from the captain followed about being flown with Smith and Jones which raised a general chuckle - always good on an early morning flight.

Flying conditions were great and we landed 10 minutes early. The only criticism came at this point - not the fault of the airline - but due to our early arrival Glasgow changed our arrival gate and there were no steps to meet the aircraft which did cause a delay of about 10 minutes.

Return Flight.

Same plane, same captain. The flight was delayed by 90 minutes due to the late arrival of the incoming aircraft (saw on the internet in the morning that this had started the day out 75 minutes late so was to be expected)

Good tail wind of over 100mph helped make this up and we were only 45 minutes in the air, and arrived 75 minutes behind schedule - great going. However, due to late arrival in Cardiff we were held on a remote stand and bussed to the terminal - always a pain!

However, would have NO hesitation in recommending bmibaby - what they do, they do VERY well, and for a fraction of the price of many other carriers.
