Taken 3 December 2006 from London, England (Heathrow Airport) - LHR to Praha (Prague) (Ruzyne) - PRG

Check-in by Air France at Heathrow is not the friendliest or most efficient, but their lounge is reasonable.

The flight to Prague benefitted from being operated by a 737-400, which had fixed Business Class seating. Being 2x2 with a fixed table in place of the middle seat made for a comfortable flight. Sparking wine and orange juice was offered before take-off along with hot towels, which was unfortunately 25 minutes late.

Once airborne a few nice touches showed CSA do try with their Business class; a menu was handed out and tables were set with linen. The meal comprised salad starter which included blue cheese and croutons, choice of two hot courses, chicken or lamb and tiramisu for desert. All being very tasty and smartly presented. Wine is uncorked from full size bottles.

Check-in at Prague was fairly quick although only 2 desks were open for all of CSA's flights to non-schengen destinations. Their business lounge is huge and fairly comfortable.

The flight back was on a 737-500 fitted with variable seating, which was noticeably more worn than that on the flight out.

The same meal choice was offered as on the outbound flight along with a good choice of drinks, but no menu was handed out.

Arrival was early at Heathrow.

CSA might not be a recognised leader, but their in-flight service is good value.
