Home > EasyJet > 2006 > ReviewTaken 2006 from Belfast, Northern Ireland (Aldergrove International) - BFS to London, England (Gatwick Airport) - LGWWe opted for easyJet to Gatwick from Aldergrove rather than Flybe from Belfast City because of convenient timings. The last Flybe flight is at 17.45 whereas easyJet's last service of the day takes off at 9.35pm - much easier to fit in with work commitments. For the first time we used the airline's speedy boarding service. AT BFS this basically means you get down the stairs to the door leading to the tarmac first and then stand with a large queue building up behind you until boarding commences. Then it's just a matter of walking out to the aircraft as quickly as possible. We were able to get front row seats which we like and the flight itself was very smooth and pleasant. The cabin crew were helpful and the pilots informative. It was also the first time we had been on an easyJet A319 and we found it more spacious than the Boeing 737-700. An only slightly bumpy approach to Gatwick was followed by a really smooth landing and despite taking off late a tailwind meant we got there ahead of schedule. Keep up the good work easyJet. | ||
