Taken 8 December 2006 from Amsterdam (Schiphol) - AMS to Shanghai (Hongqiao) - SHA
This was the worst flight I have experienced in several decades of passenger miles... the flight was an hour late leaving Amsterdam because, in the Captains words, "it has been loaded wrong and if we try to move we will sit on our backside", the staff were coldly inefficient with anyone who wasn't dutch, the information they gave regarding what paperwork was needed to catch a connecting flight in Shanghai was so inaccurate that I nearly didn't make it ("No, Sir, you don't need to fill in any forms" whereas four separate ones were required), the planes interior was a refugee from the mid 1980s, and even the seat recliner was u/s...avoid this sub-standard outfit, and walk away from any travel agent that recommends them. |
