Home > First Choice Airways > 2006 > ReviewTaken 27 November 2006 from London, England (Gatwick Airport) - LGW to Montego Bay (Sangster) - MBJAfter paying a fortune for excess baggage at airport, please note First Choice do not let you exceed 20kgs from Jamaica, even though it was fine from Gatwick. So I should have taken 3 cases instead of two, my accumulated weight was well beneath the allowed limit and they state family bag no more than 32kgs, mine was 26kgs and a small case of 16kg. Most families had to pay an excess because of course, we all tend to take one case with two lots of clothing in, so we can look after our precious children with the free hand. Of course that may be too much like common sense. Flight okay, the pilot called was great. He kept us informed all along the line and loved his description of the whoops a daisies, (turbulence). Staff OK, pleasant and did their jobs well. Don't bother requesting a diabetic meal, it is never there for you. But do take something for breakfast as the breakfast box is a sugarfest. So I was hungry by time I reached LGW. Not good for hypo really. My son did not get prebooked kids lunch box to take home; he got a make shift things from a breakfast box. He was disapointed. but I did get a refund for that. Wouldn't go with First Choice again, felt ripped off because of the luggage, and even the staff don't really know what is what re weight. Keep passengers informed please First Choice, who are now my last choice. | ||
