Home > Qatar Airways > ReviewTaken 5 January 2007 from London, England (Gatwick Airport) - LGW to Bangkok International (Suvarnabhumi Airport) - BKKThree of us flew out from London for a two week vacation in Thailand flying with Qatar Airways with a quick stopover in Doha, Qatar. Food and service throughout the flight was fantastic. First leg (London-Doha) we were given menu cards. Great choice. Well supplied with drinks throughout flight. The individual seat entertainment units worked great, good choice of movies, tv shows and games. Stopover in Doha was fine, we had been a bit delayed in London and therefore the flight continuing on to Bangkok was also a bit behind, but no problem as facilities in Doha were more than adequate. Second leg we had comfort packages on each seat containing socks, ear plugs, headphones, sleep mask and toothbrush kit. This was all contained in a reusable nylon pouch that can be used as an under clothes money/passport holder. Same entertainment setup. Returning from Bangkok the first leg was an older plane with just central movie screens, but food and service were great. We had a really short wait in Doha before boarding for our last leg which was just like our first leg, top notch entertainment system and great food and service. Seats on all flights were comfortable and plenty of legroom even for the leggy 6'1" person. Would not hesitate to fly with them again. | ||
