Taken November 2006 from Newark, NJ (Newark International Airport) - EWR to Seattle, WA (Seattle-Tacoma International Airport) - SEA

I flew on Alaska Airlines from Newark to Seattle to visit family for Thanksgiving. This was my first time on Alaska, and the entire trip was excellent. I purposely booked on Alaska as I wanted an early morning departure and non stop service as to avoid the chaos of flying during Thanksgiving. Check in was a complete breeze in both Newark and Seattle. Both flights were operated with Boeing 737-800's (one which was two months old) which were spotless. Leg room in economy was fine, and the leather seats were extremely comfortable. Though both flights were sold out, the cabin crews were professional, highly efficient, and very friendly. During both flights we were offered four beverage services! Though Alaska is now charging for meals, the food was quite good for airplane food. IFE consists of a rented DVD player, which was kind of expensive at $10.00, but offered ten movies (both current and older films), four TV shows, music and music videos; and made the six hour flight fly by. To top it off, I arrived at my destinations with out a back ache and relaxed, and by bags arrived quickly. The next time I fly out to Seattle I am going to fly on Alaska, no question.
