Home > Allegiant Air > ReviewTaken 24 February 2007 from Cedar Rapids, IA (Cedar Rapids Municipal Airport) - CID to Las Vegas, NV (McCarran International Airport) - LASIf the weather conditions are bad, Allegiant Air will pretend that they're not until the last possible moment and then they will finally cancel their flight. No other airline was flying out of the city the night I was to fly, but Allegiant Air would not step down and cancel their flight until the passengers had already waited two hours for the plane to even reach the airport. And then, you're stuck with their "replacement flight" unless you want to send them more money! My flight to Vegas on Saturday night was cancelled and replaced with a flight LATE Sunday evening, cutting my vacation VERY short. I could have spent $90 to extend the trip an extra day, but that defeated the purpose of flying a budget airline in the first place. Also, they do not have a 1-800 number and you're likely to be on hold for 10-15 minutes before anyone answers, all on your dime. Their boarding passes are photocopied with your name and seat number written in pen. I don't think you can get any lower budget. If you can spend the extra $50 to get a real flight from a real airline, then you definitely should. | ||
