Taken 18 December 2006 from London, England (Heathrow Airport) - LHR to Colombo - RML

The plane was old enough for the ashtrays to still be working. The air conditioning leaked on takeoff and landing. The Flight attendants were incompetent- they could not get a drink order of vodka & tonic right. The In-Flight-Eentertainment was rubbish. Firstly the sound was bad, so we were asked to try FIVE different headphone sets. Finally, about an hour into a very long flight the whole system became completely unresponsive, with a blank screen. Despite 3 attempts to reset it, it wouldn't work again. Once in Sri Lanka we complained, to be told (after 3-4 wasted days chasing- not a ideal way to spend ones honeymoon) that there was NO fault reported, therefore they wouldn't believe our complaint. I was absolutely appalled, and I implore you to fly with someone else. Their customer service was disgusting.
