Taken 15 March 2007 from London, England (Gatwick Airport) - LGW to Sharm El Sheikh (Ras Nasrani) - SSH
Check in at Gatwick took 2 hours due to problems with baggage belts. Flight departed on time Airbus A320 clean and tidy. Good in-flight movies, Casino Royal outbound and Night at Museum return. Inflight meals not too bad. Free drinks, but didn't mind paying £12 for half bottle of Champagne. Landing at Sharm pretty bumpy and quite a griefy immigration and check in procedure at Sharm which does take time and can be quite confusing. Cabin crew on return flight were quite young and need to be firmer with passengers when required ie passengers walking down aisles etc and using toilets when seat belts on and climbing during turbulence. I don't want them landing on my lap when they fall over !!! Plenty of room, I was sitting in 26B right at the back and I am 6ft 1 and 13 stone yet still people were moaning about legroom! An excellent service operated by GB Airways on behalf of BA. My past 2 experiences with BA were disapointing in comparison. |
