Ha..Alaska decided to board their flight an HOUR early.. we were in the bar with $15 fresh drinks in front of us AND planning to buy food for the flight (travel companion is Hypoglycemic..)..and suddenly there's an announcement "Final boarding call for Alaska 694..all passengers should be boarded now... if not we're leaving without you!"

We had to jump up, abandon our drinks, couldn't get food.. I asked the gate attendant "What are you guys doing???"..she said "the pilot wants to go." Erin had a gylcemic episode on board and was feeling terrible the whole night! Her first ever time in Vegas was spent in the hotel room. Good start! What happened to a flight schedule?!

Long story short... the return flight.. stuck on a late-to- board plane that went mechanical for 2 1/2 hours, with a male flight attendant who was barking at the Asian passengers across from us."sit down!" "headphones off... I said OFF!!" all during the time we were sitting there at the gate... pure condescendence. The 2 flight attendants hid for the first hour and a half in the galley and gave each other backrubs.. until finally passengers started asking for water, or something... at which point they distributed water around the hot cabin..ran out then hid again. Then they locked the washroom doors and let a line-up of 6 people form wondering if people were stuck in them. The girl attendant finally came to the back and embarrassingly unlocked the washroom doors after dealing with a medical issue up front. No P/A updates except from the captain. Alaska was kind enough to get us a hotel since our connections were missed.. but their cabin staff was nothing like what I had heard to expect from Alaska. A total Gong show.
