We were transferred to another flight departing 1.5 hours after our original departure time, but via Wellington. Air NZ gave us NZ$18 worth of refreshment vouchers which was adequate for 2 Lattes and 2 decent sized sandwiches. Flight was very full, but cabin crew were friendly and efficient. Service was only mineral water and Air NZ sweet due to short flight time and rough weather. Had to transfer to another aircraft in Wellington with different crew. No hot drinks on this flight either due to weather conditions. Cabin crew again friendly and efficient. Both flights operated by 737-300. Flight Auckland to Christchurch - Checked in early and got window and middle seat again on 737-300. Slightly late departure, but on time arrival in Christchurch. Friendly cabin crew again (as with most Air NZ flights) and service was standard tea/coffee/mineral water and Air NZ sweet. Also available is the new "buy on board" menu, with sandwiches, chips, soft drinks and beer/wine, but is relatively expensive. Good value as tickets booked online, $198 return which is quite cheap considering Air NZ basically has a monopoly on domestic NZ routes. | ||
