Home > MaxJet > ReviewTaken February 2007 from London (Stansted) - STN to New York, NY (John F. Kennedy International Airport) - JFKThere is no doubt that for business class the rates charged are very reasonable. But is this true business class? Check in is very good, particularly at Stanstead. Lounges are good if service is a little patchy. Service on board is good, but in my opinion the airline is let down by the following three areas: 1. The planes are old (i think 737s and they are noisy inside-take your own noise cancelling headphones!) and are a bit tatty. 2. Entertainment comes via portable DVD type players, which are not integral with the refurbished seats and a little difficult to balance when eating. 3. Seats are not business class seats as found in most major airlines today, they recline, but leg room is good. If you don't mind the noise not a bad choice particularly considering the lower prices. Obviously, with a small fleet, if there is a fault with an aircraft this can cause a delay. | ||
