This was my first flight with Monarch and I have to say it wasn't bad. The aircraft was an Airbus A330-200, with a 3-3-3 seating arrangement. On both inbound and outbound flights the aircraft was half empty which probably added to the comfort, the leg room was good and the meals was decent for airline food. The flight attendants came round quite a lot offering bar service and other things. The outbound flight left on time and the inbound was half hour delayed. The only thing I could complain about was there was no seat back TV's, and on a 9 and half hour flight it's a bit of a drag, there was TV's every 5/6 rows, but I would have rather had a seat back TV! If I was travelling short haul I would use Monarch again, on Long haul, and only really because of the TV's I would probably look somewhere else.
