Home > Wizz Air > ReviewTaken 2 May 2007 from Budapest (Ferihegyi) - BUD to Malmo (Sturup) - MMXThe outbound flight from Budapest Ferihegy to Malmo Sturup was delayed more than three hours. Check-in was efficient, and because of the delay we were given vouchers in the value of 4 Eur for the airport restaurant. (Something I did not expect from the budget airline.) Once inside, I was surprised how cramped and poorly maintained cabin looked like. Leather seats had marks, there were stains on the floor and many armrests were broken. (I looked around since mine was broken.) On landing, the flight attendant asked the lady who sat two rows in front of me to put her seat in the upright position. When the lady said that it was broken and that she can't do it, the flight attendant just "politely" answered: "It is OK then!". I've heard the same comment from one of the rows behind. The service was very slow and not efficient at all as the crew were struggling with selling the food and drinks and payments in Forints, Euros and Credit cards. I've been to other budget airlines and Wizz crew should definitely work on their efficiency. On the good side, the landing in Malmo was one of the smoothest I have even experienced. The return flights was on time: efficient check-in, same cramped cabin and similarly slow service. All in all, I would really love to see WizzAir work on their cabin maintenance a little (I hope their mechanics are doing their jobs properly ;) because flying cheap does not have to include broken seats and dirty cabins. | ||
