Home > Horizon Air > ReviewTaken 17 January 2007 from Los Angeles, CA (Los Angeles International Airport) - LAX to Reno, NV (Reno Cannon International Airport) - RNOI was very surprised with this airline. After just arriving from Australia with a 6 hour wait at LAX, I found the staff pleasant. This was my first flight in the USA with a domestic carrier, and to say I was nervous was an understatement. We are very spoilt in Australia with our domestic carriers with their excellent safety records. Even though the plane was a smaller propeller, the seats were comfortable, and the flight attendants and pilots were very entertaining. We found the snacks a bit of a disappointment (again we are very spoilt in Australia), but the flight was excellent. I must say it was a bit of a novelty to be greeted by a poker machine (I believe they are called slot machines in the USA). The only disapointment was for my bag not to turn up at Reno airport. After 30 hours of travelling, I was dying for a change of clothes. The airline were very helpful, and my bag turned up 4 hours later, and was personnally brought to our accommodation at Lake Tahoe (over an hour drive). The return flight was just as good, with the flight attendants very friendly. I would definitely fly this airline again. The return flight was just as good. | ||
