Home > US Airways > 2007 > ReviewTaken 19 May 2007 from Dublin - DUB to Washington, DC (Washington National Airport) - DCAThis flight was operated by a single aisle Boeing 757 with a dated interior that is in need of either cleaning or replacement. The entertainment system and programming were poor, and headsets were available for purchase for a price of $5. The leg room and seat recline were reasonable and made for a comfortable trip, and the in flight main meals were acceptable. However, the westbound pre arrival snack and eastbound breakfast were terrible. Only one drinks service was offered for the entire flight (the reason offered for this was related to the use of a single aisle aircraft), an the crew presence in the cabin outside of these times was non existant. Where US Airways really failed was with their crew, they were not to be seen for the boarding process, passengers were left to their own devices, and were in general unfriendly, not well groomed and uninterested. If you are looking for good value, but absolute no frills accross the Atlantic, then US Airways is OK, but they lag well behind other Star Alliance partners i.e. Air Canada. | ||
