Home > Delta > 2006 > ReviewTaken 16 February 2006 from Buffalo, NY (Greater Buffalo International Airport) - BUF to Sarasota/Bradenton, FL (Sarasota/Bradenton International Airport) - SRQDelta has just come out of their chapter eleven bankruptcy. However, during this trip, they were still under that title. The outbound trip was overall nice. The jet that they supplied for the leg from Buffalo to Atlanta was a MD-88. It had leather seats which were pretty comfortable, although lacking a bit of back support. But hey, not everything is perfect. My only major complaint about this jet is that it has no in flight entertainment even though it was a two hour flight. The second flight from Atlanta to Sarasota was good. It seemed to be newly made. It was a 737-800 which had fold up/down monitors above every couple rows of seats. The actual entertainment had much to be desired. The return flights were good as well. From Sarasota, we flew on a 737-800 again to Atlanta. For our flight from Atlanta to Buffalo, they supplied us with a very old 737-200 (currently retired). It looked like it was going to fall apart, but at least the pilot joked about the age of the aircraft. Overall, good job Delta! | ||
