I have flown with Zoom previously, from the UK to various places in Canada, and had always enjoyed the journey. I got given a promotional voucher, as Zoom has launched a sister company based in London, flying to New York and Bermuda intially, the fares were unbelievable!! The last time I flew to Bermuda (in June last year) I paid £850 odd pound for 1 economy ticket! Zoom came in at £350 with taxes, I really think this will be a success for them.

The flight was very comfortable, 32 inches in economy (just standard, not a special leg room seat) and at the time of booking there was an option to upgrade to premium economy for just £190 extra return, wish I had, it looked amazing!

That said, the economy was just fine, very comfy seats, and the cabin crew were fantastic, naturally on edge though, as there were many press and Bermudian/UK officials onboard, all of whom commented on how great the flight and service was.

Entertainment was on overhead screens, though these were plentiful and enough for the 7 hour flight. I'm sure in time they will install PTV's eventually. I was talking to the crew, who were very down to earth, and grinning ear-to-ear, and they mentioned various other routes they have planned, such as Brazil, San Francisco etc etc, and I sure hope so.

My only whinge would be that the drinks in economy should be free (although all the soft drinks are) but I guess I will upgrade to Premium next time as ALL drinks are free there.
