Home > Wizz Air > ReviewTaken 8 June 2007 from London, England (Luton Airport) - LTN to Budapest (Ferihegyi) - BUDHi. Being a regular flyer I fly both on BA and Easy Jet however I tried Wizz Air for a trip to Budapest. The flight out on Friday evening was delayed by more than 5 hours and no information was given at the check in desk even though they knew full well it was already delayed as it had not set off from it's original departure point. No updates were given and it was impossible to find out anything we were just told to sit and wait. We were given a £3 voucher which didn't even cover the cost of a sandwich. Having eventually arrived into Budapest at 4.30am instead of 11.30pm the previous night it meant the hotel accommodation booked was wasted. On the way back the experience was even worse. Having being told the 6.40pm flight was already delayed until midnight I phoned up and asked to go on the earlier flight at 5pm. This was delayed until 9pm and then until 5am!!! Again no communication and no customer service. You just have to hang about until they decide they are ready. The staff knew full well where the planes were and what time they were expected, but again no information was given except for we can't say for certain... I don't know how Wizz Air can operate in this way it is certainly the first and last time I will fly with them. | ||
