Taken 2007 from St. Petersburg (Leningrad), Leningrad (Pulkowo-2) - LED to Riga (Spilve) - RIX
A low cost offspring of SAS with a near monopoly for travel to and within the Baltic States, Air Baltic has strange business practices: On January 17, I booked online 2 tickets from St Petersburg to Riga for August 16 at an admittedly low price. All screens progressed confirming the right date until the final confirmation gave a travel date of August 17, or 1 day later. I sent them an email exactly 1 minute later, mentioning the error and requesting a correction. The reply came quickly online, mentioning that I could change the travel date for a 100 euros penalty ($ 134). All subsequent mail, emails and faxes have gone unanswered.
